Raw Dog Food Delivery in Ringwood, Verwood & Fordingbridge: A Local Guide
If you feed your dog raw food, keeping the freezer stocked can quickly become part of the weekly routine. But finding the brands and flavours you want locally — without having to place a large order just to qualify for delivery — isn't always as convenient as it should be.

For customers in Ringwood, Verwood, Fordingbridge and our surrounding local delivery area, we offer free local delivery with no minimum order.
That means whether you need to refill an entire freezer or have simply realised you're down to your dog's last few meals, you don't have to build a large order just to qualify for local delivery.

RAW DOG FOOD DELIVERED LOCALLY
Frozen food is different from ordering an ordinary bag of dog food through the post. It needs to stay frozen and be transferred back into a freezer promptly.
Buying from a nearby supplier can therefore be particularly convenient for raw feeders.
Rather than waiting until you need a large freezer order, our no-minimum local delivery means you can order according to what you actually need.
It can also be useful if you're experimenting with different proteins or pack sizes and don't yet want to commit to a large quantity.
WHAT RAW DOG FOOD DOES RIKER'S STOCK?
We carry a growing selection of frozen raw dog food, including Durham Raw and Natural Instinct.
DURHAM RAW
Our Durham range includes a variety of frozen minces and mixed boxes.
Current products include proteins such as chicken, turkey, beef, lamb and duck, alongside mixed options. Pack sizes, current availability and prices can be checked online before ordering.
If your dog enjoys variety, the mixed boxes can also make it easier to buy several flavours without selecting every pack individually.

NATURAL INSTINCT
We also stock a selection of Natural Instinct frozen raw food.
Our range includes several Working Dog recipes and different protein combinations, with products available in convenient frozen packs.
Natural Instinct produces commercially prepared raw food and offers complete recipes as part of its range. Always check the individual product label to make sure the recipe you choose is appropriate for your dog and whether it is labelled complete or complementary.

NEW TO RAW FEEDING?
If you're thinking about trying raw food for the first time, don't feel that you need to buy a freezer full immediately.
Start by checking whether the particular food is complete or complementary.
A complete dog food is designed to provide all the nutrients your dog requires when it is fed according to its instructions. Complementary foods are intended to form only part of the diet.
The right amount to feed will vary according to factors including your dog's weight, age, activity level and body condition, so use the manufacturer's feeding instructions as your starting point.
If your dog has a medical condition, is on a veterinary diet or you have concerns about changing their food, speak to your vet before making a significant dietary change.

HOW SHOULD FROZEN RAW DOG FOOD BE STORED?
Raw pet food needs to be handled carefully because, unlike cooked food, there is no cooking stage to eliminate potentially harmful bacteria.
Keep frozen raw food frozen until you need it and follow the storage and defrosting instructions on its packaging.
The UK Food Standards Agency advises owners to keep raw pet food separate from human food, defrost it in a sealed container at the bottom of the fridge, wash hands thoroughly after handling it and clean surfaces and utensils that have come into contact with it.
Good hygiene is particularly important in households containing young children, pregnant people, older people or anyone with a weakened immune system.
